Greg Owens, Chief Credit Officer for the Covenant Resource Group, brings over three decades of financial expertise to this role. A graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a B.S. in Business Administration, Greg spent 20 years in the banking sector, working in community and regional banks as well as nationwide government lending programs. His career included branch management, lending, market development, branch acquisitions, and establishing advisory boards. As V.P., Greg generated and oversaw loan portfolios and served on the Board o his local chapter of The National Bankers Association. In 2008, he founded Best Fit Financial, a business financial consulting and commercial loan brokering firm that he continues to operate. A committed Christian for over 50 years, Greg has served in various church roles, including finance, youth development, and as an adult Sunday school teacher for more than a decade. His financial acumen and Christian commitment make him a valuable asset to CRG.
