David Sayers, Ph.D., Chief Financial Officer for the Covenant Resource Group, brings over 20 years of financial expertise for Christian ministries, colleges, small businesses, and nonprofits, following a successful 10-year career in banking. He excels in financial planning, audit preparation, and fraud prevention, particularly assisting organizations without a CFO or those needing specialized project support. Dr. Sayers has held key leadership roles as a CFO, CDO, and COO in Christian higher education, providing a broad understanding of complex financial operations. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, master’s degrees in Accounting and Business Administration, and several related certificates and licenses. In addition, he is a commissioned Minister of Stewardship and Administration, combining his financial acumen with a deep commitment to Christian service. With a proven track record of managing diverse financial challenges, Dr. Sayers is well-positioned to strengthen CRG’s financial health and drive future growth.
